I have this walker I m 5ft 2 Slim and I got the compact size it also has a kerb lifter and is 10.6 kilos in weight very light swivels nicely and goes through doorways indoors easily. I get lots of comments when out with it decided on the oyster white as the red stands out more. I like it s designed for posture so you stand straight close to the walker so feel safer using it. Love love it. Definitely get Rollator envy when out and about. Is there such a thing yes there is now!

How much can it take

I'm a retired optician, and as such, I guess you know what that means now that you need to wear reading glasses over your contacts? It means you no longer only need single vision glasses for distance. You now need to start wearing progressives fulltime. Yes in away progressives are just a fancy way of saying you need bifocals now. But the reason they call them progressives is because they are a big improvement from the dreaded old line bifocals that your great grandmother used to wear. Your near vision is going to continue to worsen the more you're wearing your reading glasses. In a month or two you won't be able to read anything on your phone without your glasses. So since you're wearing glasses anyway it really doesn't make any sense to continue wearing contacts for distance with glasses over the top of them for reading. Get fitted with a nice looking pair of glasses with progressive lenses. Unless you tell people no one will even know your glasses aren't single vision. I will warn you that you can expect to spend several days adjusting to progressives. But you get used to them I think you will love them. Do you have any questions for me?
